"Above All"

This year’s fall print release is titled “Above All’. It depicts the Alum Cave Trail which leads to Mt. Leconte in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Alum Cave Trail is one of Robert’s favorite trails in the Smokies because as you ascend up the trail you are rewarded with magnificent views of rivers, mountain vistas, and the opportunity to wind through the lush forest covered treks.

In honor of the mountains he calls home, Robert will be dedicating a portion of all proceeds from his featured fall print release “Above All” to an organization he holds close to his heart, the Friends of the Smokies. Friends of the Smokies is an official park partner of the National Park Service and the Great Smoky Mountains National Park that works to provide funding for critical park projects. Since 1993, the Friends of the Smokies has raised $62 million dollars to support preservation projects. Robert and his wife, Mary John, have been Charter Members of the Friends of the Smokies since the organization started out 25 years ago. “It has been an opportunity of a lifetime to be a part of an organization that has literally made a mountain of a difference. Working with the Friends goes hand in hand with what I do. It’s a natural fit to support an organization that loves our mountains as much as I do”.
